Will You Watch K-Fed's Debut on 'Celebrity Fit Club'?

VH1

As usual, it's hard to believe anyone in his/her right mind would sign up for VH1's Celebrity Fit Club. And as usual, a whole new group of recruits have done just that. "For six seasons I have taken flabby celebrities and molded them into lean, mean fit club machines," barks Drill Sgt. Harvey Walden IV [Ret.]. "Time to get back in the fight."

Britney's Spears' ex-husband, Kevin Federline, is among the crazies lining up before Walden when Celebrity Fit Club: Boot Camp 2 kicks off tonight. Walden describes K-Fed as "a dancer who's been off stage getting fat and famous." As for Federline himself, he says, "I look like a pregnant man."

This just leaves us wondering: At what point did this guy lose his last vestiges of shame? And then it gets worse.

"Losing weight isn't the only problem he'll have to face," Walden says. Federline's pre-Britney ex, former Moesha actress Shar Jackson, has also joined the Fit Club. "People seem to know me as K-Fed's baby's mama," explains a tearful Jackson. Jackson's renown did increase exponentially when her ex wed Britney Spears. The spotlight burned her and she says, "The wound is very much still open."  So she's making the emotional journey to find closure with her ex…on a reality show. Huh.

The rest of the cast is similarly down and out. In fact, Celebrity Fit Club has a penchant for booking celebs you love to hate. Whitney Houston's hard-partying ex, R&B has-been Bobby Brown, is already drinking the first night. And Sebastian Bach, the cocky lead singer of '80s rock band Skid Row, arrives spouting platitudes like: "Many people have tried to control me. Many people have failed."

Tanisha Thomas (Oxygen's Bad Girls Club, season 2), made her name as a rabble-rousing reality star who's not afraid of a brawl. "I just do what I want to do, how I want to do it," she declares. Five minutes into tonight's episode, she's already vomiting from the strain of running. Is she lowering our expectations of her for the remainder of the season?

There is a bright side, according to Walden. "Here at boot camp, you're gonna find your inner warrior, and that inner warrior is one, mean son of a bitch!" he yells at his recruits. "Follow my lead and be rewarded with a brand new freakin' body!"

But will that freakin' body be worth this kind of humiliation? Let's hope so!
