First, the boat pose: "Hold the pose for 5-10 breaths, then do two sets of 8-10 crunches and side sit-ups." Follow that by the plank pose, which "takes a great deal of abdominal strength." For an extra challenge, "I will have Jennifer raise her toes off the floor, so she is only balancing on one foot. Hold the plank for ten breaths, then switch legs." And to wrap up your core workout, try the sit-and-spin move. "Every time you take a pedal stroke and pull your knees up towards your chest, you are engaging the abdominals," Ingber explains.
