When Brad Pitt, 48, and Jennifer Aniston, 43, ended their five-year marriage and the actor linked up with his now-fiancee Angelina Jolie in 2005, the uncoupling fed the tabloid machine for years. Stories of bitterness on both sides abounded, and while some of that might have been true -- at least at first -- these days both Pitt and Aniston (pictured in Cannes on May 13, 2004) say everything is just fine. When InStyle asked Aniston what people usually get wrong about her private life she replied, "The triangle with my ex-husband -- and that there's a feud there. It's constant. It's a story headline that won't go away, but it's a money thing." For his part, Pitt told told Today’s Matt Lauer that Aniston is "a dear friend of mine."
