Alanis Morissette

Singer and attachment-parenting mom Alanis Morissette welcomed her son Ever Imre in 2010, but was hit with the baby blues soon after. At first she thought the feelings would pass, but later came to realize that the longer she waited, the more intense the depression became. Now, she wants to aid other moms in their battle: "I think if there is any goal in me talking about it, it would be to eradicate the shame around it," she said. "It’s just what happens sometimes and, for me, I just waited way too long to reach out for help."
