Beautiful centerpieces are often the finishing touch for any gathering. But can they be intriguing and easy? Here are three simple arrangements that can be done by anyone, regardless of time or budget.
To begin this project, you'll need a clear vase, budding red flowers (I chose anemones) and a bag of cranberries. Empty the bag of cranberries into the bottom of the vase and then fill the vase two-thirds full with tepid water. Cut the stems of your flowers diagonally with sharp scissors or a pruner. Arrange the flowers in the vase, and voila! Placing two or three of these arrangements on a mantel or at a dinner party will make a statement. Another option for this arrangement is to use cut berry stems from your garden in place of the red flowers.
