Here's a juicy little tidbit for you: Gossip Girl star Chace Crawford was arrested in Texas early Friday morning, after cops found him in possession of marijuana.
The actor was hanging out in a car with friends, outside a bar in his hometown of Plano, when cops approached the 2003 Nissan. Authorities found Crawford with less than two ounces of pot on him, and some reports say he was just smoking a single joint.
The fairly wholesome CW star, 24, was booked on a misdemeanor charge and bailed himself out before 1 a.m. The maximum sentence for his crime is 180 days in jail and a $2,000 fine.
Ironically, Crawford will next be seen in the drama Twelve with Emma Roberts and 50 Cent, where he plays drug dealer. The film opens on July 30.
