When Tony Romo got engaged to Chace Crawford's little sister Candice, he scored more than just his bride-to-be. The Dallas Cowboys quarterback also got a famous brother-and-law who turned out to be a pretty good pal.
Sunday night, Chace and his parents 24-year-old Candice -- who is a TV newscaster and former Miss Missouri U.S.A. -- and her football fiancé for a private pre-Super Bowl dinner party at the Audi Dallas Forum. "I'm very excited," the Gossip Girl star told E! Online about his sister's wedding plans. "I'm very happy that she's happy."
Chace, 25, and Tony, 30, have more in common than a love for Chace's kid sister -- they've both been romantically linked to Carrie Underwood in the past. But that hasn't led to any awkwardness between the two. "I guess he's OK!" Chace joked of his future brother-in-law. "I mean, I taught him everything he knows."
At the party, Chace also chatted it up with his friend and Gossip Girl costar Jessica Szohr, who is rumored to be dating Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers. The Gossip Girl cast sure has some close ties to the NFL dating pool! Think Romo has any teammates willing to take Blake Lively out on a date?
