Channing Tatum Tries to One-Up Jean-Claude Van Damme's Epic Splits (It Doesn't Go Well)

The actor attempts to show off his flexibility on the set of his new film, 22 Jump Street

Hollywood hunk Channing Tatum not only has good looks, but a great sense of humor, too!

Everyone was in awe watching Jean-Claude Van Damme's new Volvo commercial, featuring the action star performing the most epic splits ever -- between two moving trucks! In case you missed it, here's the amazing video:

But we all know that Tatum has got some pretty good moves of his own, and in this parody of Van Damme's commercial, the Magic Mike star sets out to prove it:

Playing Jenko, his character in 22 Jump Street, the new father sends up the orginal commercial with this voiceover: "I've had my ups and downs. Being an undercover cop, that's what made me what I am today. Surviving high school is no easy task. Neither is being a college freshman at my age. But because of this, my body is now engineered to defy the law of physics. And the mindset to master the most epic of splits."

Tatum stands atop two food carts rather than giant trucks. And that is when we truly discover his unparalleled flexibility (or lack there of). A+ for effort, but as for the execution... well, don't worry about it -- you're still sexy!
