Chapped Lips

Cracked, chapped lips need extra care during the colder months. Lips can peel, crack in the corners and even bleed. If you’re going outside, apply a base of SPF 30 sunblock first, and then add Vaseline Petroleum Jelly or Aquaphor Healing Ointment. Both of these products contain a petrolatum barrier, which keeps lips hydrated. Sunblock helps to protect your lips from sunburn (and, yes, this can happen in the winter).
