Charlie Sheen has found a good way to worm his way back into our hearts: Donate money to people in need.
No, we aren't just talking about the fact that he gave Lindsay Lohan $100,000 to help cover her tax debt. The Anger Management star has given $75,000 to help a young girl who has been diagnosed with a cancer known as Childhood Rhabdomyosarcoma (CR).
TMZ reports that Sheen was talking (JUST talking -- he wasn't in trouble) with a Hermosa Beach, Calif., police officer when he learned that the man's 10-year-old daughter Jasmine has CR, which attacks muscel tissue. The Hermosa Beach Police Association has started a fund in Jasmine's honor, and Sheen opted to donate $75,000 to the cause.
In addition, Sheen's stunt double Eddie Braun also decided to give to the little girl. He wrote a check for $25,000, making their total contribution $100,000. Considering Braun doesn't make anywhere near as much money as Sheen does, that's almost an even kinder gesture.
Hopefully that contribution will be appreciated more than his donation to Lohan was. She reportedly hasn't even thanked him yet, though Sheen still wishes the Liz & Dick star "the best."
