Charlie Sheen Fires Selma Blair From 'Anger Management': She's Better Off Without Him!

Uh, oh! The actor is causing trouble on-set once again. Who would ever want to work with him?

To put it mildly, Charlie Sheen is a guy who's used to getting his way. He lives a life of excess and entitlement, and pays alarmingly few consequences. He could use some friends who call him on his crap. Unfortunately, when Selma Blair tried, he responded by firing her.

Reportedly, the rift began after Selma complained to producers about Charlie showing up late and having a bad work ethic. Both of these complaints are likely valid, in light of the things we heard when Sheen was fired from Two and a Half Men. (Not to mention the fact that Charlie's a recovering drug addict who doesn't really seem to believe in rehab.)

Rather than dealing with the issue, Sheen lashed out, saying that Blair was out of line because he's the show's star (Blair plays his therapist-slash-love interest), and that he has to learn "40 pages of lines per episode compared to her 2."

That's right -- Charlie thinks he doesn't have to show the same work ethic as everyone else, because he's more important than they are. He's like the anti-Beyonce.

Shortly after Charlie's rant, he began telling people that Selma was fired. Then he threatened not to work if she showed up to set on Monday. Even though this is the negotiating tactic of a two-year-old, it seems to have worked.

"We are confirming that Selma Blair will not be returning to Anger Management and we wish her the very best," producers announced on Tuesday.

So now the series has to continue, with Blair leaving abruptly right in the middle of the season, because Charlie's feelings were hurt. Talk about immature! It's crazy the stuff that Sheen can get away with, simply because he's a household name. We can't imagine how Blair put up with him for a whole year. Frankly, we think she's better off without Anger Management, and should go back to the big screen. (After all, she's arguably a bigger movie star than Sheen.)

Now we wonder what actress Sheen will be able to sweet-talk into replacing Selma on Anger Management. He's reportedly going after Mila Kunis -- but we suspect she has too much self-respect to take that paycheck. Lindsay Lohan, on the other hand, might be available for a return visit...
