Actions speak louder than words, and Charlie Sheen has done one big action that speaks volumes about his claim that he's started a new, better chapter of his life. The Anger Management actor has helped out his Scary Movie 5 costar Lindsay Lohan in a major way by bailing her out of some serious tax debt.
A representative for Sheen confirms to E! News that 47-year-old actor gave her $100,000 to pay off a tax debt -- not loaned, but gave. According to the rep, Sheen "has a long history of helping out his friends in many ways, and this is just another example of that."
Sheen might have taken a hit to his income when he switched from CBS' Two and a Half Men to FX's Anger Management, but for a long while he was the highest paid actor on television. That's likely part of the reason that he doesn't sweat donating his money to help out others, like Lohan, in their time of need.
TMZ reports that the $100,000 Sheen gave to Lohan came from his $250,000 Scary Movie 5 paycheck. That massive amount of money came from only one day on set (a day that had him starring opposite Lohan) so it's understandable why he didn't have any issue giving it away. Sheen donated the other $150,000 to three different charities that were chosen by Scary Movie 5's director, producer and "one of the other filmmakers behind the flick."
