Charlie Sheen may not be giving up on his rocky marriage to Brooke Mueller, but the troubled Two and a Half Men star is reportedly surrendering custody of his children. Sheen, 44, who had two children, Sam, 6, and Lola, 4, with ex-wife Denise Richards, "has surrendered legal custody" according to TMZ.
Sources claim that Richards, 39, wanted full legal custody as Sheen has been having marital woes, as well as dealing with substance abuse and criminal problems. Sheen, who only had visitation rights with his two children (he also has twins with Mueller), signed a written agreement granting all rights to Richards.
Apparently the signed agreement, which was allegedly made two weeks ago, allows Richards to make any and all choices regarding their children, including "medical, schooling and other important decisions without getting Charlie's sign-off. She can also leave the country with the kids without Charlie's permission."
