Charlie Sheen's Defense: I Had "One Bad Night"

After his crazy, drunken night in N.Y.C., the actor is back to work and says he's "doing great"

It's going to take more than a drunken hotel rampage to ruffle Charlie Sheen's feathers. The actor -- who was reportedly found naked and intoxicated in a trashed room at New York City's Plaza Hotel on Oct. 25 -- is chalking the occurrence up to a fluke.

"If a guy has one bad night everybody goes insane and panics," Sheen told Extra. "I'm not panicking."

Not even the disappearance of his $150,000 Patek Phillippe 5970 watch has him agitated.

"The way I look at it, if you have expensive tastes, you gotta be prepared for expensive losses," he said.

The actor, 45, seems to be getting on with his life since the altercation in New York, which left more than $7,000 worth of damage in the hotel room. He has since filed for divorce from third wife Brooke Mueller, has returned to work on Two and a Half Men and is claiming to be doing just fine.

"Doing great, just finished a show... (I'm) back to work," he said over the weekend.  "Everything's good, everything's good."
