Does Aaron Carter have a Situation going on? The former tween pop star and Dancing with the Stars contestant, now 22, has been spending some serious time on his abs (and pecs and biceps) lately. The singer showed off his new body in a series of shirtless Twitpics posted over the past few days. One shows an intense-looking Carter flexing his frighteningly muscled torso; another is a close-up of his abs (is that a twelve-pack we see?). Carter says his new bod is a part of his preparation for a new studio album -- his first in eight years.
"I've been at [manager] Johnny Wright's compound working on my mind, music, and body for a new album release!" Carter tweeted to followers last week.
On Sunday, Carter added that he was "in the process of developing a new style of dance. This will be unforgettable."
Is the world ready for the new Aaron Carter? It seems like only yesterday that he just wanted candy…
