12. Seek Medical Advice

  • In most cases, sleep disorders (as well as insomnia) can be effectively treated or symptoms minimized.
  • If your child or bed partner has a sleep problem, it is likely that you, too, are suffering.
  • Talk with your primary care practitioner or a sleep specialist if you suspect any of the above factors might be influencing your sleeping patterns or diminishing the quality of your sleep.
