Cheery Children's Table and Chairs

Belinda Graham, The Happy Home

Who would have guessed that one budget-friendly kid's table, masking tape and clear contact paper could look so cheery?

"This is one of my favorite projects—it's used so often and my kids love it. I think I also like it because it adds a little color to my home, something I'm not very good with; sadly, this is probably as brave with color as I get! I stuck thin strips of Japanese masking tape on the table and seat tops, then covered it in a clear sheet of contact paper. Combine that with the coats of super-glossy black paint on the frames and it is the easiest thing ever to clean—everything just wipes off!" —Belinda Graham, The Happy Home
