As the Wedding Crashers would say, "It's wedding season!" And certainly, one of the most highly anticipated vow exchanges this summer will be that of former First Daughter Chelsea Clinton and her hubby-to-be, Marc Mezvinsky.
Former President Bill and Hillary Clinton are helping to host the bash, rumored to have hundreds of guests -- including some of the biggest names in politics and Hollywood. Invited guests will reportedly include President Barack Obama (can you imagine the thrill of being seated at his table?!) and Oprah Winfrey (think she'll gift some of her "favorite things"?), as well as directors Steven Speilberg and Barbra Streisand, and media mogul Ted Turner.
Last month, New York magazine reported that the Chelsea, 30 -- who got engaged to Mezvinsky in November 2009 -- had a strict "no strangers" policy for the guest list, trying to make sure the event wouldn't be overrun by people in her parents' social circle who weren't actually in her life. And a friend close to the Clinton clan says they weren't aiming for "a celebrity-driven wedding" and that the majority of the guests will be "their closest friends."
More details of the wedding have been revealed by the Hudson News, including the locale of the July 31 wedding: Rhinebeck, New York, which is approximately 90 miles outside New York City.
