Cher is naturally rooting for her son Chaz Bono to prevail on Dancing with the Stars, but she insists she's above trash-talking the Karadashians to give him a boost.
The Huffington Post wrote a report claiming the 65-year-old entertainer was dissing the Kardashian sisters when she twittered on Sunday: "I don't watch reality TV! Never saw a Kardashian, but those bitches should be dropkicked down a freeway! Not kidding!"
But Cher says her comments were taken completely out of context; she was talking about the reality show Bridezillas and simply emphasizing how little she watches the genre.
"Fact that I was talking about Bridezillas & Not The KARDASHIAN Girls seems 2be unimportant to the Fkng "STAR" Oh! I mean Huffington Post," she angrily clarified on Oct. 4.
And Bono's cheerleading mama didn't stop there; she twittered at the HuffPo directly, saying: "Guess this is not where you go for the truth! I don't know why I was expecting real journalism! At some point they all sell out."
The website has since placed an "update" on top of the story. Everyone will see if the Kardashian sisters believe the international superstar next week, when Cher joins the Dancing with the Stars audience to root for Chaz.
"Looks like I'll be in the audience next week, lovelies!" she announced after Chaz survived this week's elimination.
