chime in nowNot one to stick to the tradition of wearing a typical glam gown at the Oscars, Cher expressed her outlandish personality at the 58th Annual Academy Awards in 1986 with a one-of-a-kind Bob Mackie dress that she considers to be her favorite look to date. After being told that she wasn't nominated for her 1985 flick Mask "because the Academy doesn't think you're serious, (when) you don't dress seriously," Cher wore the Mackie-designed showgirl-esque beaded black two-piece gown with a two-foot tall headpiece made of rooster feathers to spite her doubters.
