'Where the Wild Things Are' (2009)

The wild rumpus that is Where the Wild Things Are transports you from the pages of artist and author Maurice Sendak's classic storybook into an equally magical world: the combined live-action/CGI adventure directed by Spike Jonze. Featuring the voices of James Gandolfini and Catherine O'Hara, the film captured an edgy, grownup sensibility about how children perceive the (often intense) dramas in their world.
