Here's the latest on Chris Brown's legal battle.
His lawyer was in court today (Chris was not required to be there) and, was not only granted a delay in the case, Mark Gregaros said he wants the entire Rihanna assault case dismissed due to public leaks.
"The leaks can form the basis for a motion to dismiss the case in regards to outrageous governmental misconduct," the attorney told E! News outside of court Wednesday.
The next hearing has been set for May 28, when a judge will decided if there is enough evidence to go to trial. It is possible that things could wrap up before then, as Chris could make a plea deal with prosecutors.
Also on Wednesday, the Los Angeles Police Department has agreed to return Rihanna's jewelry that they had from the night of the attack, as the company that loaned her the bling was asking for it back.
