Chris Brown isn't someone who's known for keeping his cool. So we were understandably surprised (albeit amused) when he went off on a tangent about how he's recently learned how to use Twitter in an appropriate, adult manner.
"I haven't been as mature and thought out in the past, so, me growing now, it's showing my progression," the 23-year-old says in the December/January cover story of XXL.
He continues, "I used to use my Twitter account to vent, but now I mostly use it for marketing and promotions. Even if the media asks me something, if it's cool then it's 'What's up?' But if it's anything that's too negative, I don't care to respond."
Of course the interview took place before he infamously engaged in a heated Twitter feud with a comedy writer just last week. All it took was one antagonizing tweet from comedian Jenny Johnson to set Brown off. His misogynistic and vulgar tirade against her earned him such a negative response that he ended up deleting his Twitter account -- something we'd argue is for the best.
That's far from the only time Brown has let his anger get the best of him. He also got quite riled up after the backlash to his Grammy win earlier this year, tweeting, "HATE ALL U WANT BECUZ I GOT A GRAMMY. Now! That's the ultimate F-CK OFF."
Ahh...Maturity at its finest.
