The plot thickens!
Although Drake's rep has released a statement claiming that he wasn't involved in a Thursday morning bar fight that left Chris Brown with a gash on his face, a new report from TMZ says that Brown has "physical evidence" proving that Drake was indeed part of the fracas.
According to TMZ, the 23-year-old "Turn Up the Music" singer met with NYPD detectives Thursday to discuss the incident. And later that night, his lawyer, Mark Geragos, reportedly presented the police with concrete proof that Drake and rapper Meek Mill, both 25, were the aggressors in the situation. Brown is currently being considered a "witness and a victim," although cops tell TMZ that Drake is also not a suspect at the moment.
Per TMZ, Drake's camp is "cooperating" with authorities, although it is not known whether the rapper himself has met with police.
The fight happened around 4 a.m. Thursday morning at New York City's W.i.P. nightclub, and initial reports said that both Drake and Brown partook in the brawl. However, Drake's rep later claimed that the singer "was on his way out of the club when the altercation began" -- and sources subsequently told TMZ that Mill, who was hanging out with Drake, started an argument with Brown and later hit him in the face with a bottle. Brown posted a picture to Twitter showing off the war wound on his chin.
Five people -- four of them bystanders, were reportedly taken to the hospital with injuries sustained as a result of the melee.
