Chris Brown Sued in Another Assault Case

Does anyone see a pattern forming here?

Chris Brown's bodyguard is being accused of attacking a photographer in March, just days after the singer was arrested for beating up girlfriend Rihanna.

Robert Rosen is suing Chris for personal injury, saying his bodyguard went crazy when the pap tried to take a photo of Chris at a gym. The shutterbug claims he was chased by the bodyguard, who yelled at him after taking a photo of Chris playing basketball, and attempted to run away, but an employee of L.A. Fitness Club allegedly "tried to block [Rosen's] exit and grabbed his clothing and body."

The lawsuit claims that the photog got away but then fell down a flight of stairs. The bodyguard then allegedly "picked [Rosen] up by his shorts, and physically assaulted him." Rob claims he was "severely injured and disabled, both internally and externally."

He is seeking damages covering his medical bills and emotional distress.

Chris' lawyer says this all bunk, of course.

"This is a specious and frivolous lawsuit by one of the paparazzi seeking publicity and a payday," Mark Geragos said. "He's done this before and lost. We will vigorously defend against this."

Come on, people, it's not like Chris is a monster or anything.
