One of the many loves of my life, Chris Daughtry, doesn't care if you're a Republican or a Democrat -- dude just wants you to do your civil duty and vote.
"Celebrities promoting causes is a long-time tradition and, for some reason, people tend to listen," the robbed American Idol alum told People.com. "We think it's really cool we've been given this platform and we hope to reach out to voters under 30."
Chris and his band have just recorded a cover of Foreigner's "Feels Like The First Time," and will perform the tune at both the Republican and Democratic National Conventions. The video for the song will feature footage of bot John McCain and Barack Obama, but when pushed to pick a side, Chris didn't budge.
"I'm not here to push my political beliefs on anyone. We're equal-opportunity employers!"
Sigh. He's one sexy, do-gooding American, I tell ya.
