Sure, he makes millions laugh and he's got famous friends, but Chris Rock's celebrity status doesn't impress his daughters Lola, 7, and Zahra, 5. The funnyman, who's starring in the new comedy Death at a Funeral star (in theaters Friday), claims that as a dad he's just not cool.
"I'm in show business.... I can introduce them to Hannah Montana....I introduced them to Justin Bieber the other day...," Rock, 45, tells iVillage in an exclusive interview, insisting that to his daughters, he's "just Dad."
And when it comes to fatherly advice, the quick-witted Rock emphasizes the importance of teaching his daughters to "slow it down. Normally, in life, when trouble occurs, people speed it up, but if you learn how to slow it down at trouble, you'll probably get through it," he says.
