Christian Bale is finally addressing the f-bomb bonanza he spewed at a Director of Photography on the set of Terminator Salvation.
"I was out of order, beyond belief," he told KROQ's The Kevin and Bean Show. "I was out of order, beyond belief. I acted like a punk. I regret that ... It is inexcusable."
Christian said that his meltdown stemmed from his love and intensity of his craft, but admitted, "I made it ugly. I took it way too far."
"Please, I am asking people, do not allow my onetime lapse in judgment, my incredibly embarrassing meltdown, to overshadow this movie," he said. "I ask everybody to sit down and ask themselves, 'Have they ever had a bad day and ever lost their temper and really regretted it immensely?'"
Even so, though, the actor says, of the public ridicule, "I deserve it completely."
