When she emerged onto the pop scene in the late '90s, Christina Aguilera caught the attention of the media, and she's remained in the headlines ever since. The former Mickey Mouse Club star has gone from stick-skinny to voluptuous and curvy -- and back again. But her beauty and confidence is always there, no matter what!

Christina stepped on to the scene with the release of her hit single, “Genie in a Bottle.” The pop singer (pictured here at her first ever Teen Choice Awards) showed off a stick-thin figure that would spark endless comments about her weight ups and downs for years to come.
As her celebrity status continued to grow, she began to wear less and less! Although Christina looked confident at the MTV Music Awards in a barely there dress, that wasn’t always the case. "When you're young, it's so easy to get bull-dozed," she confessed to Lucky in 2012. "There were these two ladies who worked at the record label who always wanted to come to fittings and dress me up like a Barbie doll. It was disgusting."
By 2003, the singer had stripped herself of her Barbie doll image. She showed off a curvier figure, darker hairdo and some questionable fashion choices.

Christina trimmed down once again (and went back to blonde) after getting engaged to music marketing executive Jordan Bratman. The singer and her now-ex-husband tied the knot in November 2005.
Christina arrived at the 2007 Emmy awards with a noticeably fuller figure! The blonde beauty flaunted a tiny baby bump before officially announcing the happy news on Nov. 4.
Two months before Christina and Jordan welcomed Max Bratman into the world on Jan. 12, 2008, the soon-to-be mom looked confident and sexy on the red carpet. The singer proudly embraced her pregnant body by posing nude for Marie Claire’s January 2008 issue.
One month after giving birth to her son, Christina debuted her top-heavy, post-baby figure. "It's kind of hilarious! I've never fit into an E-cup before," she told US Weekly. "I look at my husband and go, 'Guess what size this bra is?' And when I tell him, he's just amazed."
Christina took a year hiatus in 2009 to record on her album Bionic, film her movie Burlesque and tone her figure! The singer showed off her super-skinny frame (and her adorable bob!) at a New Year's Eve bash in Las Vegas.

Unfortunately, 2010 wasn't the best year for Christina. After the release of her underwhelming album, her divorce from her husband, and her box office flop, the singer (pictured here at the American Music Awards) also had to deal with public criticism for her weight gain.
Christina’s career turned a new leaf when she signed on to be a judge on The Voice -- and her confidence carried over to her body image. “Actually, the challenge I’ve always had is being too thin,” the singer told Lucky. “So I love that now I have a booty, and obviously I love showing my cleavage.”
Rocking leather boots and sexy fishnets, Christina looked confident and sexy onstage in 2012! "I've been criticized for being on both sides of the scale,” Christina told Marie Claire. "It's noise I block out automatically. I love my body. My boyfriend (Matt Rutler) loooves my body. My son is healthy and happy, so that's all that matters to me."
Christina wowed fans when she debuted a slimmed-down figure and a gorgeous, fresh-faced makeover in the summer of 2013. The blonde bombshell looks better than ever while promoting The Voice.
In a show-stopping white gown with a plunging neckline and side cutouts, Christina showed off her thin frame and cleavage at the American Music Awards on Nov. 24. After years of being criticized for being either too thin or too curvy, it seems Christina has finally found a flattering and healthy balance!
