Fill your home with the aroma of slowly simmering cinnamon-spiced cider, and you’ll know it’s fall. Not convinced? Top it off with a dollop of whipped cream that’s laced with pure maple syrup.

| 4 cups apple cider | 1 cup cold heavy cream, for whipped cream | |
| 3 cinnamon sticks | 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup, for whipped cream | |
| 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract |
Simmer cider with cinnamon sticks and vanilla for at least 10 minutes.
In a mixing bowl, whip cold heavy cream with a whisk or the whisk attachment of your electric beaters. When soft peaks form, add maple syrup and continue beating until stiff peaks form.
