This study will evaluate the cardiovascular safety of an investigational drug combined with allopurinol in people with gout and cardiovascular problems. You must be 50 or older and have a uric acid level greater than 6.0 percent to qualify.

Arthritis and Cardiovascular Disease

This study will compare celecoxib (Celebrex) to NSAIDs (Ibuprofen, Naproxen) in people with osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis and risk factors for, or a history of, cardiovascular disease.
