Ask anyone to meet you at Starbucks, and they’re likely to have the same response: “Which one?” With over 16,000 stores in over 50 countries, Starbucks offers more than 30 blends—and a Pike’s Place “short” (that’s “eight-ounce cup” to you and me), its name a nod to Starbucks’s hometown of Seattle, has 180 mg of caffeine.
Note: Keep in mind that The Mayo Clinic describes a moderate dose of caffeine as 200 to 300 mg in an entire day, coming in the form of "two to four cups."
