Comedian Bernie Mac Dead at 50
Funny man Bernie Mac, who many knew as a founding member of the Kings of Comedy tour, has passed away at the age of 50.
His rep said that Bernie "passed away this morning from complications due to pneumonia in a Chicago area hospital."
The rep also said that no other details are available and that they "ask that his family's privacy continues to be respected."
Bernie Mac was admitted to the hospital for pneumonia on August 1, though he was expected to recover.
