Compazine and Benedryl during pregnancy

I was wondering if you knew of any research that involved the effects of maximum doses of compazine and benedryl (used to battle hyperemesis) on an unborn baby. I had SEVERE hyperemesis and stayed on these two medications for six months. My baby, now 2, is very healthy but VERY active. Do you think the medications have anything to do with her hyperactivity?

Reviewing these drugs in Briggs' "Drugs in pregnancy and lactation", neither has been shown to cause behavioral difficulties in children. No association with hyperactivity has been shown.

I sympathize with your search for some causativCompazine and Benedryl during pregnancye agent, as I did the same thing when my child had colic and later appeared to have hyperactive tendencies. There is not much research on the specific causes of this related to environmental or chemical agents during pregnancy.
