After weeks of speculation, it has been confirmed that The Real Housewives of New Jersey will be losing at least one of their havoc-wreaking cast members, as the season's ultimate troublemaker, Danielle Staub, will not be returning for another season of the Bravo reality show.
On the show's reunion special that aired Monday night, it seemed that Staub managed to repair some of the damage between her and the other ladies and will be moving on with (sort of) a clean slate.
"The reunion was Danielle's last appearance on The Real Housewives of New Jersey," said Andy Cohen, Bravo's senior vice president of original programming and development who also hosts the Housewives reunion shows. "We thought the hugs were a great way to end two seasons of bitterness between the women."
Though it may be the last we see of Staub as one of the Housewives, it's looking like she won't be gone from our TV sets for very long.
"I am considering many incredible options that have been presented to me," she said last month. "Don't worry next year, I'll still be the one you either love to hate or hate to love."
Staub is said to be working on a spin-off reality series that will focus on her life and her daughters' careers.
