Filming The Amazing Spider-Man truly was amazing for Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone. Even as their onscreen alter-egos Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy were falling for each other on camera during the film's 2011 shoot, the actors got snared in a romantic web of their own off-camera. While the pair initially kept their relationship a secret so they wouldn't hurt their exes' feelings -- he'd just broken up with Rasing Hope star Shannon Woodward, she'd just ended things with actor Kieran Culkin -- they haven't been shy in packing on the PDA as they promote Spider-Man (in theaters now). "We got on really well as people, in between [takes]," Garfield told MTV News of how their romance bloomed. "That was the fun stuff: In between, we'd just mess around and I felt, 'Ah, this is different.' I wasn't really aware of what was happening in the screen test. She keeps you on your toes and that wakes you up. That was the beginning." But not, thankfully, the end.
