Courtney Love is on a kiss-and-tell streak: first she told Howard Stern that she hooked up with Gavin Rossdale behind Gwen Stefani's back, and now she's claiming that she once slept with supermodel Kate Moss. In a new interview for Ireland's Hot Press Magazine, Love, 45, says she had a tryst with Moss in the late '90s, when the two stars were partying in Milan.
"Kate wasn't doing a lot of drugs," Love clarifies. "It was just a thing that happened... and it was fun and whatever. And she talks about it and so I hope she doesn't get mad that I outed her about it." She adds that Kate is "a good friend of mine. I almost bought her house in St John's Wood, London." (We guess sharing real estate is a mark of friendship in Love's world?)
The Hole singer had hinted at the Moss relationship in April, when she told The Howard Stern Show that her one lesbian affair was with a supermodel. "She pretty much chased me around the room," Love said. "Literally, she was the aggressor. And I thought, you know what, if you're gonna do it, do it with that one." At the time, the rocker remained coy about the model's identity -- other than saying she was British, older than Gisele Bundchen, and not Naomi Campbell. When Stern's sidekick Robin Quivers guessed Moss's name, Love refused to comment. What a difference a month makes!
Also in the new interview, Love goes into detail about her one-time relationship with Gavin Rossdale -- which, she says, was ongoing for about eight months. "There was some overlap between when I dated Edward Norton and he dated Gwen," she explains, "but never when they were engaged."
