Create DIY Toy Desserts
Looking for a sweet and simple craft project to do with your little ones? Check out these totally adorable DIY desserts made out of sponges and fabric paint, from Frugal Family Fun Blog.

Make a Sticky Note To-Do Chart
If you're a list-making mom, check out this brilliant, eco-friendly take on the to-do list from Modern Parents Messy Kids. We love the fact that you only need three things to make it: Sticky notes, a dry erase marker and a shadow box. So buying things to make a to-do chart won't overwhelm your actual to-do list.

Read a Winning Picture Book
Over on ohdeedoh, we discovered that Publishers Weekly has come out with its Best Books 2011 list -- and 11 fabulous picture books are on it. Among the top titles: Everything I Need to Know Before I'm Five, E-Mergency and (no surprise to Mo Willems fans) Hooray for Amanda and Her Alligator!

Whip Up Healthier Rice Krispies Treats
Rice Krispies Treats are pretty perfect, in our humble opinion, but we're planning to try the healthier version that we found on A Nest for All Seasons, which incorporates "goodies" like dried cranberries, sunflower seeds, flax meal and oats. We're thinking extra chewey-gooey sweet granola bar. We're thinking yum.
