These easy cocktails are refreshing and seasonal; both clementines and cranberries are winter fruits. They're a festive addition to any holiday party.

| 2 cups cranberries | 1 cup whiskey or bourbon | |
| 2 cups sugar | 2 cups club soda | |
| 1 cup fresh clementine juice (from about 6 to 8 clementines), plus 1 clementine cut into 6 wedges |
In the bowl of a food processor, combine the cranberries and sugar and pulse until all the cranberries are broken, about 6 to 8 pulses. Add the clementine juice and pulse a few more times to blend. This can be done several hours in advance and kept in the refrigerator.
In each highball glass, pour about 1 to 2 tablespoons of the cranberry mixture, top with a jigger of whiskey and as much soda as desired. Garnish with a wedge of clementine. Ice may be added as well if desired.
