These "finger sandwiches" can be filled with almost anything as long as it isn't too bulky. Try peanut butter and jelly, cream cheese and black olive spread, Nutella or even thin sliced turkey and cheese.

| 8 slices whole wheat, white, or pumpernickel bread | 2 bananas, thinly sliced | |
| 1 cup cream cheese, softened | 16 to 20 almond slices (whole slices that look like nails) |
Place 4 bread slices on a cutting board. Spread cream cheese over each slice. Top with a single layer of bananas, then top with the remaining 4 slices.
Slice the crust off the bread and slice into 1/2-inch wide "finger." Slice the tip of each finger into a point. Place a small dollop of cream cheese on the back of each almond slice and place on the end of the pointed finger. Stack on a plate.
