Seashells: If you don’t have enough, you can buy them. ($9 for 42 pounds of mixed seashells at Jamali). Look for shells that are flat or round; we used cowries, scallops, lion’s paws, augers and cones. Coquinas, turkey wings and sand dollars have interesting shapes that also work well. Don’t worry if your shells aren’t perfect; painting over them will hide any flaws.
