chime in nowThe blogger: Patricia, Memi The Rainbow
The space: Patricia, an Italian art student, made her home in this charming Parisian house, which also doubles as her studio. She describes her studio as, “My little attic under the roofs of Paris.” The city serves as inspiration for her hand-carved rubber stamps and felt accessories. Little jam jars display these her handmade creations. Her studio is filled with vintage toys collected from Parisian flea markets and online stores. A wooden typographic drawer -- where printers stored letters and numbers in the old days -- was one of Patricia’s flea market finds, that now displays her knick-knacks and compliments the ambiance of her attic. The studio/house has two levels a downstairs area, featuring her living room, kitchen and workspace, and a minuscule “mezzanine,” where her bedroom and sewing machine is located. The areas come together to create an inspiring place Patricia calls work and home.
