EXCLUSIVE: Cristy Dishes on "Crashing" Lea's Party on 'Real Housewives of Miami'

In an interview with the Bravo star, Cristy Rice tells what really went on at the party and responds to being called a hooker

We should have known it wouldn't take long before the drama began on Bravo's The Real Housewives of Miami! In only the second episode of the new series, Lea Black accuses fellow Housewife Cristy Rice of crashing her charity gala.

But the drama didn't end on the show. Immediately following the airing of the episode, Rice and costar Marysol Patton appeared on Andy Cohen's live show, Watch What Happens Live. During the show, Black phoned in and called Rice a "$1,000 hooker" for crashing the party and only paying for two -- not three -- people.

"I said hi to her. I said hi to everybody. I never sat. I never ate. I had one drink. I said hi to all my friends and I left. And I gave her a check that week," Rice tells iVillage exclusively.

As for only paying for two guests, Rice has an explanation for that. "I went there with one person!" Rice says. "She invoices me for three people. If you are anywhere and you happen to take a picture of four people, are you now responsible for the four people? I was responsible for my ticket. I paid for my friend just because. I got nothing out of it. I didn't enjoy the entertainment, whatever she had. I didn't really take part in the activity. I went in and said hello and here's $1,000 for your charity."

So, yes, Rice did pay Black, but she wasn't very pleased with how she was asked for the money. "She did do something that was very tacky," Rice reveals. "She sent me a certified mail, signature-required envelope with pictures of me in her event. If I was a complete stranger and you want to do something like that? Still tacky, but okay. But when you know somebody and you have been in their home and I have been at hers and we have the same social circle of friends, you pick up the phone and you call. If you needed the money that bad, you should have told me right there. I have no problem going to the ATM."

However, Rice also believed that once she had paid the money, the drama had ended. "She received the check. Silently. I still believed there was no drama," she explains, which is why Rice was shocked when she heard Black's call on Watch What Happens Live. "I was very much in shock. It came out of nowhere. I personally would never in my life speak like that," Rice says.

If the Real Housewives of Miami keep up this drama, they'll be sure to be around for season 2!
