"This project was a true labor of love for me. I fell in love with otomi fabric years ago after seeing it in Cookie magazine and decided that one day I'd replicate the look in my own home. Determined to show people that staple-gun upholstery isn't so scary, I took on the process entirely by myself (after having a carpenter cut the headboard shape—I'm not so good with saws) and filmed the upholstery over four hours in my bedroom.
