"My experience and research shows a direct relationship between blood cholesterol and triglyceride levels and the consumption of carbohydrates. If you want to lower your cholesterol, reduce your intake of carbohydrates, especially simple carbohydrates, like candy, cookies, pies and cakes. The truth is, fats are not [the only] cause high cholesterol, it is the carbohydrates in your diet, too. Keep eating avocados — they are good for you!"
