Now cancer-free, she’s using her experience with the disease as an ambassador for Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Since her mother had cancer twice, Nixon started getting mammograms at 35, which is how her own breast cancer was caught so early. "They said they wouldn't have thought anything of it, it was so small. But it wasn't there on the previous years," the 43-year-old mom of two told CBS's The Early Show.
