Congratulations to Sex and the City's Cynthia Nixon and her longtime partner, Christine Marinoni, who are engaged. A source told Access Hollywood that the actress announced the good news on Sunday at a rally for gay marriage in NYC.
The Love, Peace and Marriage Equality rally was organized in support of NY Governor David Paterson's proposed bill granting legal equality to same-sex unions.
Cynthia was joined on the podium by good friend and costar Kristin Davis, where Cynthia told the crowd that she and her girlfriend got engaged last month. They have been dating since 2003.
