Will the next season of Dancing with the Stars be an all-star affair? On Wednesday's episode of Live with Kelly, Mario Lopez (who competed in 2006) let slip that ABC had called him about participating in Dancing With the Stars: All-Stars. Although ABC hasn't actually announced plans for a special DWtS, Lopez claims it's happening "this next season" -- and season 15 seems like the perfect time to welcome back some old contenders. In that spirit, here are a few former contestants we'd like to see go toe-to-toe with Lopez on the dance floor!
If you can remember all the way back to season 1, you may recall that supermodel Hunter was a favorite to win... until a shocking elimination left her out of the final three. Ultimately, she lost the season to Kelly Monaco. We demand a rematch!
The season 4 champion is one of the most dynamic dancers in the show's history, and we'd love to see him strut his stuff again. While we're at it, let's bring back Julianne Hough to be his partner.
The season 10 contestant wasn't the best dancer, but boy was he sexy! Is it any wonder that his partner Cheryl Burke couldn't resist having a little fling with him?
In season 12, Alley was awesome on the dance floor and hilarious in the interviews -- and watching her drop a dress size each week was truly inspiring.
Some viewers cried foul when this experienced dancer won season 10. Sure, maybe she was overqualified, but we'd love to see her tango with Derek Hough again.
We would never put Baby in a corner or leave her out of the All-Stars.
Because he's a terrible dancer, and he had the time of his life. Isn't that what the show's all about?
