Dancing with the Stars: Week Two Results!

Jerry Springer was the top pick to be the next to go in our latest poll, but it was Shanna Moakler (with partner Jesse DeSoto) who was ultimately asked to leave the dance floor. So Springer survives to dance another day -- but how long can he really last? I guess we just can't underestimate the power of Jerry. The former Miss USA bid us all a heartfelt goodbye, though I'm not sure her departure was a total surprise. After all, she did come in tied for second with Harry Hamlin in our poll ... perhaps Harry should start worrying?

Joey Lawrence and Edyta Sliwinska were called back out for the encore of their slick quickstep. They are definitely looking like contenders now. Other highlights included a professional group jive dance to "Rebel Yell" ... What's next, waltzing to "Enter Sandman"? Dancers Cheryl Burke and Maksim Chmerkovskiy did the rumba as Julio Iglesias belted out the Foreigner tune "I Wanna Know what Love Is". Apparently Julio's album Romantic Classics includes this song as well as "Careless Whisper" (I'm never gonna dance again... Hmmm.) Tucker Carlson, who was ousted last week, returned for a special talk-show segment "Behind the Sequins" during which he grilled the judges on their true motives. An interesting show overall, but I felt that all the special numbers were starting to wear thin already. What did you think of this week's results? Are you still rooting for the same dancers or do you have some new favorites? Who will be the next to go? Dish it all out here! Until next week...
