'Dancing with the Stars' Finals: Who Deserves the All-Stars Mirrorball?

After an entire season of fabulous dances, it all came down to the final competition of Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars, where three beautiful women: Shawn JohnsonKelly Monaco and Melissa Rycroft danced their hearts out for a chance to claim the All-Stars mirrorball!

Every couple performed twice on Monday night -- first to their favorite dance of the season and second to a "supersize freestyle" which allowed the professional partners -- Derek Hough, Val Chmerkovskiy and Tony Dovolani -- to choreograph dances with extra performers and more intricate sets.

Kelly and Val got things started with a paso doble that had judge Len Goodman exclaiming, "That was your best dance to date!" For their second-round dance, the couple danced to Dirty Dancing's theme "(I've Had) The Time of My Life" and combined aerial Cirque du Soleil elements with their number.

Judge Carrie Ann Inaba was impressed: "This was the perfect dance,"she said of their 29.5-point performance. "You executed everything great, you added artistry and you told us a happy ending to a beautiful love story."

Melissa and Tony performed their favorite dance of the season, a samba to Gloria Estefan and the Miami Sound Machine's "Conga," which earned them three enthusiastic 10s. Bruno Tonioli called her a "deliciously irresistible Brazilian bombshell," and said, "You've grown so much as a performer. You really have blossomed."

For their freestyle dance, Tony choreographed a risky lift-heavy contemporary dance, which wowed the audience and critics alike: "Freestyle jackpot!" Inaba said. A speechless Len held up his 10 and said: "I wish I had an 11."

And then there was Shawn and Derek, who started the night with the lowest score of the night, a 27 for their signature quickstep -- because it contained a lift that would force the judges to lower their score. "You're not allowed to break hold, which you did, you're not allowed to do lifts, which you did," Len said. "You leave me nowhere to go."

Shawn and Derek's show-stopping freestyle pulled out all the stops -- with a little help from the Fierce Five (the U.S. Women's Gymnastics team). "It was a medley of Derek and Shawn's greatest hits," Len explained. Bruno said it was "the crowning glory on a fantastic night," and received a perfect 30.
